Same hardware, same software, multiple companies.
Documenos® has a multi-company architecture. After downloading the software and installing it on your own servers, you can host multiple companies/organizations on the same server, on the same hardware and the same software.
To use Documenos® in a group made up of several companies, all you need to do is set up your company definitions.
In a group, business processes and data flows often involve several companies at once; the data of documents and tracked work is completed as it passes through more than one company.
Each company's data is recorded in its own space.
When defining processes and workflows, a step can be assigned entirely to people, managers or groups in another company.
Documents, process files, workflows and task data can be shared with anyone in any of the group companies.
There is no need to define a new user account in Documenos® for each company. A user can sign in to the accounts of multiple companies, be a member of groups belonging to different companies and use all the permissions gained from these accesses at the same time.
A user can be the manager of a unit in one company while being an employee of another unit in another company.
Security groups are defined and authorized separately for each company. Which permissions a user can use in which company is described in detail through the groups they belong to.
