AI is not a separate screen; it lives right inside the field where you enter data.
Documenos® Archive detects faces in the photos you upload automatically with AI.
Images and face data are never sent to any external service. Face data is stored securely in a separate database.
You turn face detection on or off for each archive.
Detection starts on its own when a photo reaches the layer you specify.
When processing is complete, the file can be moved automatically to another layer based on the result. This separates photos that contain faces from those that do not.
In the preview, each face is marked with a frame. The person's name appears above identified faces.
You click a face in the preview and identify that person.
You can choose the person from existing records or create a new person. Existing people are suggested sorted by similarity score. You can ignore faces you are not interested in.
You sort people into color-coded categories such as staff, visitor or guest.
When you identify a face, the system rescans the archive for similar faces. It also automatically matches familiar faces in newly uploaded photos.
Automatic matches are shown with a separate icon, making them easy to review.
Identified people are added to the photo's archive index. This lets you search your archive by person's name.
You see all the faces in which a person has been recognized together in a single gallery.
Permission to identify faces is granted separately per archive and layer; users without permission cannot change identity information. All detection and matching operations are tracked in the queue logs.
Face recognition is available in the Documenos® Enterprise edition.
