Access Level Definitions

The first level of access security in Documenos archives is the concept of access level specified on the archive, folder, file. Access level is specific to each company/institution and may vary. To manage access levels:

  1. Log in to Documenos with an administrator account.
  2. Open the Control Panel.
  3. Click the Archive Management tab.
  4. Click on the "Access Level Definitions" link from the menu on the left.
  5. Press the "Add Access Level" button on the screen that opens.
  6. In the "Access Level Definitions" popup screen that opens, give a name to the list and specify the access level as an integer.
  7. Complete the process by pressing the "Save" button.

Managing Users with Access Levels

To manage users with an access level, click the "Users" icon in the relevant access level row:

Press the "Add User" button to add a new user to the drop-down list. Select the user from the drop-down list and add the user to the list with the "Save" button.



On this screen, you can add a new user to the list or delete a user.
