Documenos is a Web application.

This is a Web application. You can run it on the internal network of your company or institution, or you can install it on a server directly connected to the Internet. While you can access the application only from computers within your business, you can also access it from both the internal network and your users on the Internet. Installation is entirely up to your preference. The application does not currently have a service model (SAAS) established to serve you from our servers.

Documenos is an operating system independent application.

The operating system of the server you will install on must be Windows, Linux or MacOS. You can examine the prerequisites required for the installation in detail in the installation-related topics.

Documenos uses the latest Web technologies.

Documenos is coded using the C# programming language and ASP.NET Core 7.0. In this way, it is an application suitable for OPEN SOURCE CODE architecture. It uses HTML+JavaScript+CSS+JQuery in the browser. To work with photo and video files on the server, it uses either codes we have written only in C# or completely open source libraries.

Documenos does not incur additional licensing costs.

Documenos is an application coded in accordance with open source principles. You do not have to pay any additional license costs to install and use the program on your own servers. For example, you do not have to pay expensive license fees such as Microsoft SQL server or Oracle license. However, there may be exceptions to this. Documenos can be automatically integrated into some paid cloud services. For example, it can enable you to benefit from functions such as photo processing, video or audio processing by connecting to Google APIs or Microsoft Cognitive Services APIs. If you want to use such paid features, you must pay the API access fees directly to the provider of the relevant service (Microsoft, Google, etc.).

Documenos is an industry agnostic system.

It has a flexible structure that can manage all kinds of business processes and model any scenario, regardless of the sector your business operates in. Therefore, it is a 100% suitable platform for Industry 4.0 E-Transformation projects.
